Request ZX Uno port to MiSTer

I would love to see a ZX Uno Core on MiSTer.

Not just for having the commodities, but also UX, special modes, ...

SRAM / SDRAM conversion issue will crop up again...that's what tripped up a "clean" ZX Spectrum Next port.

You mean specifically the ZX Spectrum core on the ZX Uno? Because that supported other cores too.
Also what is missing exactly?

There is enough internal RAM in the FPGA to avoid using the SDRAM on this core. So if that was the biggest problem, then it shouldn’t be a big deal.
I’m not doing it myself.

Maybe expand the current core to add those features? Radastan mode is neat, that would unlock some interesting.games.

Anyway I'm glad the ZxUno is still active. I should try that SD card sometime on mine...

I am one of the ZX-Uno founders and I think Jotego is our man. I've upgraded my patreon to Director so I will propose zx-uno as core to port to MiSTer. But I need support of other patrons to vote the polls.

The Main problem of ZXUNo core is the data contained in the SPI Flash
In the SPI Flash the core reads:
- The ROMs
- The ESXDOS rom
- Several data configurations of the core
So, first we have to solve that part.

This ZX Spectrum core of the ZX-UNO would be a great contribution to the MiSTer project and perhaps we would obtain at the same time as this, a valuable SRAM driver that can be used for other future cores and not so future as ZX Next. I have no doubt about Jotego's ability to carry out this project.

Can't you use the 2nd SD card in the MiSTer IO board for that?
Sure it's not ideal compared to loading it from the main filesystem, but it's a start.
