IO Board No VGA Output

Trying to get a new MiSTer running with IO standard. I get output from the HDMI but not working on the VGA port. Is working to same monitor using a HDMI to VGA adapter. Am I missing a setting or switch?

If this is a VGA PC CRT monitor, you need to edit your mister.ini and set forced_scandoubler=1. The menu and most cores default to 15khz/240pish output appropriate for CRT TVs, and this change will bump them up to 30khz/480p which was the typical minimum for PC monitors.
