Neo Geo Core Artifacts \ Glitches

I'm just using MiSTer for the first time so I haven't had a chance to try other cores but the Neo Geo core is exhibiting very odd vertical line artifacts. It almost seems like the pixels are transparent within those streaks. I've tried a handful of games, including ones that require 128 MB RAM (which I have) and so far I'm not seeing any kind of pattern. I'm hoping it's not the corrupt RAM issue. I'm using the Dark Soft Pack if that helps.

Note : Not all games were doing this. Metal Slug 4 seemed artifact free in the 5 min I played it.

Turns out I was just using the oldest core available instead of the newest. The artifacts are gone now that I’ve upgraded.

Saw the title and came here to suggest exactly what you did! Good job figuring it out! When in doubt run the update script, do a cold reboot, and see if it goes away.
