Championship Soccer ‘94 Mega CD Not Loading [Solved]

I can’t get Championship Soccer ‘94 to load on the Mega CD core. The BIOS screen is just blank. I’m using a REDUMP BIN/CUE file set.

Is anyone else having this issue or know of a solution?

Which BIOS are you using? Have you tried others?

I just loaded it up and started playing a match between Italy and Romania. I am using the 2.00 bios and MegaCD_20200502.rbf.

I've used the 1.10, 2.00, 2.00(W) and 2.11 BIOS files and still nothing.

I'm about to start pulling my hair out because all of the other games I've tried have worked flawlessly and I seem to be the only one having this issue.

I tried this BIN/CUE set and finally got it to work.

The BIN/CUE files I was using had 95 tracks and wasn't working whereas the set that finally worked only has one BIN file. I got the file set with 95 tracks from a reputable Redump set. Anyone know what's going on?

Maybe its due to the amount of files it uses when its checking the disc on reset
but if you start the core and turn off reset on insertion then load champ 94, (95 track version) it works fine

Setting 'reset on insertion' to no on the OSD fixed it.

The new update for sega cd also fixes the champ soccer game with 95 tracks it seem to work fine with reset on insertion on now too
