Looks like it boots to the system check screen, then flips the picture horizontally and then hangs. I just ran update-all yesterday. I could have sworn this was working prior, but maybe I am losing my mind a bit?
Was trying to load up Top Secret, as I was curious about the localization changes there versus the NES release. Tried all of the alts, same result.

Ah, yeah - I had been working from the alts folder.

Same thing here. No way to flip the screen in the OSD and strange definition for the buttons: A, B, X, Y but no Coin and no Start.

Hi, those MRA files hadn't yet been updated with DIP switch controls. I have added it now to Japan/USA MRA files. They looked ok on a quick boot. Run the updater to get them.
MRAs are easy to edit, and I accept pull requests for them here; in case you want to try fixing one of them in the future.
