Red-ish screen with component cable. How to fix?

Unread post by pbsk8 »

I just got a component cable to use with my mister. The thing is the image is red ish. :(

My mister ini is set like this:

ypbpr=1
vga_scaler=1

Result:

monitor via hdmi:
IMG-20210321-100517.jpg
IMG-20210321-100517.jpg (4.35 MiB) Viewed 1419 times

tv via vga-component
IMG-20210321-100527.jpg
IMG-20210321-100527.jpg (4.76 MiB) Viewed 1419 times

If I set ypbpr=1 and vga_scaler=0, the tv doesn't show anything.

Any idea how to fix this?

It looks like the blue cable is not connected.

It is connected. But then sometimes the image is blue ish as well.

is it a faulty cable then?

Because my SOG is set to ovr, because when in auto, the tv doesn't show anything. When I set to ovr, it shows the ther eis trembling in the image on screen, also problem with the cable?

Could be faulty cable or IO board.

The trembling is probably because you are not using a CRT.
