Figured it would make sense to also make a topic here.
Today I tried to play Arkanoid co-op with 2 spinner controllers, but noticed it's impossible to assign a mouse to both P1 and P2. It's either P1 or P2.
This should be an easy to implement feature, because the snes supports 2 mouses natively.

Re: Request: Second mouse support for SNES
There is currently no support for detecting a second mouse on the MiSTer in general, so it would have to be added to the linux side then to the framework and then to the snes core, I believe. You might be able to do it with SNAC + USB mouse with just a change to the SNES core (or it might already be supported I guess).

Re: Request: Second mouse support for SNES
Like aberu wrote, the MiSTer framework doesn’t support non-standard mouse input setups like this (it strictly merges usb mouse devices) . It would be nice to have have implemented one day for the niche cases on the systems that supported it natively. For me, it’s the only feature the MiSTer lacks to be a substitute for the original hardware. I would definitely throw money at any patreon that would work to implement it.
