No issues here with 32MB, it is much better than the previous version where the mras did not start each time, now they start on the first try.
I also noticed something on the github issue: on the video posted the text for 1 player/2 players is waving, on my roms obtained via the update script the text is not waiving.

from looking at the github issue above, im not alone, and this is affecting a good chunk of people.
theres assumably more people who are experiencing this, but arent reporting the issue on github.

for now, i have switched back to the original 1/13/21 public release, because i do play this game alot.
and im honestly not even sure what the new 4/6/21 release is fixing/improving (there are no release notes).

nullobject has said hes back at home where his work station is, so im hopeful this will get fixed soon !

On my MISTer: before the update I had trouble starting the mras (some more than the others), I had to try quite a few time before it would load properly. With the new update they all start on the first try. This is with 32MB SDRAM.

Really odd - everything seems to works fine for me. 128mb module, RBF/ROM up to date/current - I can run at 57/60Mhz w/ SDRAM selected (coupled with any vsync_adjust setting), and I have no graphical issues with any combination. I wonder what might be going on. Hopefully it can be fixed soon for those who are experiencing issues.

Just download an older rbf from here:

https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Arcade- ... r/releases

and put it on your card.

I had graphic glitches the last week but now they are gone. What stays is a problem with the game controls in DoDonPachi.
Joypad up pauses the game
Firebutton 1 not only fires but steers also right
Firebutton 2 not only fires but steers also left
Redefining the buttons does not help. Sounds familiar? How did you fix it?

I installed the rbf file and was able to play without the graphics issue, but I no longer can get autofire even though it is mapped. I used file: 20210113. At least its playable again.

Hey guys, what is up with the Dodonotchi core? It used to work fine on my mister but after running update all a couple weeks ago, it totally crashes the mister when trying to start it. I have 32 MB RAM.

If the core is still responding try and change the memory type used from SDRAM to DDR.

As soon as I load the core all I get is a black screen and nothing more can be done but a hard reset.

Try this :

If you can't see anything, push the menu button, then down 6 times then Accept 2 times to switch to 60Hz.

The latest version has bugs:

-DDP and Dangun Feveron compatibility is broken
-Esp Ra. De. seems to only work in DDR3 mode

I’m sure nullobject will have it fixed soon enough :D

YouTube videos of the Guwange beta look pretty excellent.

According to that link, Air Gallet may be in the second tranche. That's excellent news!

F***yeah!
guwange was the first cave game i played back when MAME was first starting out, and they got the 1st gen cave titles to run.

the game blew me away with its bullet hell gameplay and weird bosses.
absolutely was not expecting it to be that good!

Hey folks. Absolutely loving DoDonPachi, have there been any developments with ESP Ra De and Guwange?

My list for more Cave shooters on Mister is strong :D
