Would snac link cable be possible for 2 player back to back cabs?

Just wondering. For people who want to do the back to back arcade. For street fighter for example.
Would it be possible to link 2 misters to sync a game so you can play a game muiltiplayer. On 2 different display's.

maybe it would be a better to just get a hdmi splitter or some sort of video splitter and run the second player usb to the other cab.

I see using the ethernet port more viable than the snac.
It is my great regret that we live in an age that is proud of machines that think and suspicious of people who try to.

Depends how communication normally takes place between such arcade boards (i.e. how many signals, what speed, etc.).
And whether such communication has been coded into such a core (probably not).

head-2-head or in this case back-2-back setups for fighting games in the arcade did not use 2 PCBs. Its a single PCB, with audio and video split to go to both cabs, and control wiring forked to go to both cabs.

Different story for games that require each player to have their own view (eg. Daytona). In this case you need a full 2nd setup w a link cable - and of course the software needs to support it.
