Have not tried the core yet, but the github repo mentions separate boot roms for the wonderswan and wonderswan color, they are almost impossible to find, are they really needed?

Excellent! Great news!

Could someone please advise on how to create the required SDRam file? Is this just an empty file called SDRAM.RAM?

Thanks!

Just realised that I didn't thank FPGAzumSpass properly. Many thanks, the core looks so polished. I am looking forward playing the NeonGenesis Game that got translated to English a while ago.

I can't get the BIOS files to read at all. The ones I've got have the correct checksum, but I can't seem to get the location and/or filename correct. Finding the readme instructions a little confusing - can anyone give me any pointers?

In /media/fat/games/WonderSwan:

wonderswan bios: name it boot.rom
wonderswan color bios: name it boot1.rom

There is no sdram file, you just need to have a sdram addon board.

For the BIOS: yes those are unfortunatly required.
I didn't implement a hacky method of starting directly inside the game with fake Register and Memory content.
This is easy for a software emulator, but not in FPGA.

I am using a CRT Setup and have one in portrait mode. But in "180 degress wrong way". So eg. Judgement Silversword is standing the wrong side.

It is possible to add Orientation Ver180 for CRT Mode ?

Great Work :-)
Many thanks

An interesting companion for this, but no idea how you'd actually make it work usefully, would be a Wonderborg core.

hello, these boot roms are giving me trouble. Sure I got them on the no-intro sets but they weren't rom format, they still don't work if I rename them either.

*update* nevermind. I was mislead by how the github instructions were written. The bios work when I just put them in the root of my WonderSwan games folder. The way it's written, I thought I had to put the bios in their own folders ><

woohoo, the 75.4hz refresh works on my computer monitor!
was playing a little bit of dicing knight, and silversword last night, fun stuff.

its a shame the majority of these games are japan only, but there are luckily some english translation patches around :)
