I'm pissed that no gaming reference was made in the opening ceremony, although at the closing of the Rio Olympics, Shinzo Abe appeared as Mario

A manga reference, yes. A vidyabideogēmu :mrgreen: reference, no. I watched it in its entirety :P

EDIT: Ah, you're right; didn't catch the tunes (especially the opening one as my country's team entered). Although visually -I insist- there were no vidya catches :)
