Pi3 or Pi4 for the MT32-Pi Hat?
Pi3 or Pi4 for the MT32-Pi Hat?
I've read conflicting comments on using the MT32-Pi hat with a Pi 3 with it causing occasional stutter. Has anyone here experienced this and would I be better off getting a Pi4?

Pi 3 A+ so you can get a GeekWorm/UGeek case with it and have a really nice compact setup. There are no known performance issues. Even the Pi 2 will possibly be getting support.

There's an FAQ for that: https://github.com/dwhinham/mt32-pi/wik ... or-mt32-pi
From where, exactly?

I honestly can't remember. I was reading up on it a lot last night as I was frantically watching stock of the 3A+ on the PiHut dwindling by the hour and wanted to make a decision before they sold out (they had 19 yesterday evening and are now down to 2 - being an older board I don't know if it will be restocked or not).
My mind has been put to rest now as the 3A+ is a lot cheaper and a better fit too.

No worries.
The Pi 3 A+ is going to be in production until at least January 2023, and RS Components currently has 17465 in stock - I don't think they'll be disappearing any time soon.

The unit looks absolutely made for the 3A+. It's surprisingly small, and fits nicely with the DE10 Nano.

Can confirm, Pi 3A+ with Geekworm case and d0pefish's 3D printed vertical stand (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4809529) is a stunning device that works perfect.
