Atari 800 core not working since 20200509 release

Hi!

Atari 800 core 20190927 works perfect for mi, every ".rom" or ".car" format loads.

But in the 20200509 nothing works.

Disk software (.xex) works.

I try to delete all configs from config/Atari800*, but same result.

Any help?

I don't use cartridges much, I've tried fiddling around with them and I've noticed they seem to "corrupt" easily or something, and to require me to relaunch the core when I want to launch them reliably.

In my case there is no corruption, simply nothing works in cartridge format. On the other hand, if I put the 20190927 version of core, everything works.

My Mister has a 32mb SDRAM.

I had problems getting the Space Harrier cartridge working. It works, but it took several attempts to run. Most of the time the core hung after loading. This hasn't happened in previous versions.

Just tested with some random CARtridges, especially Space Harrier (2018) and even Atarimax Cartridges - but all of them are working fine.
With the Atarimax ones I'd to exit to MiSTer menue sometimes and to re-enter the core to get them work. (128MB SDRAM, core atari800-20200509)

Retried it, for Space Harrier runs every time with the core 20190927 and in 1 of 10 attempt with 20200509 and then it often has graphical corruption. 128 MB module too, everything else I tried (XEX, ATR) runs without problems. Maybe it has something to do with specific RAM modules.

I have tried Space Harrier (*.car) several times with the latest core and it never works for me. When it finishes loading, the "self test" menu appears.
With the previous core (20190927) it works perfectly.

For me it shows most of the time a corrupted title screen. I opened an issue on Github.

Same here- cartridges do not work at all right now. Original 32M module for RAM. Works in older 2019 core.

May be someone wo has such issue has more than one SDRAM module and can try different modules?

ok, tried Space Harrier. It loads fine every time i try to load it after core reset. If i try to load it from the game then it doesn't start.

This is exactly my own experience. First cartridge after core load works fine, subsequent ones don't. I'm running 128MB SDRAM module.

It's not all subsequent. Just press reset (USER button) and then load cart - it will work. Some carts may relay on initial ram content and may fail to start without reset.

Doesn't work for me, neither with 32 MB nor with 128 MB module. Works fine every time I try it with the old version, without the need to reset anything.

Same here, it never works (32mb), not the first time i load the core.
