No power to USB Board
No power to USB Board
Just fitted my MiSTerFPGA USB board fitted the link and powered on, tried a usb device but it has no power.
Seems there is no power getting to the USB hub board.
Any ideas or a dodgy board or power link ?

Re: No power to USB Board
The USB board has a tiny fork that touches a solder point right behind the DC-IN of the DE10-Nano. The USB board has power when the red LED at the back end (the side the DC-IN is located) is lit.
Make sure this fork has contact.

Re: No power to USB Board
I think the above only applies to USB hub's produced by Ultimate MiSTer.Threepwood wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2020 9:35 am The USB board has a tiny fork that touches a solder point right behind the DC-IN of the DE10-Nano. My suggestion is to just remove the board and re-seat the Micro USB connection you are using, also check the DC plug is firmly inserted into the DC socket on the hub, another tip for checking is you can connect the hub to a PC if required.
Also the sockets labelled PWR1 on the USB Hub v2.1 are for power only and not data, if you use these sockets no LED's on the hub will illuminate.

Hi Washac, glad everything is now ok. Anything you need, just ask.
Was for sure the power pin not making contact.
