FTP Access for Secondary SD Card

Unread post by OnCor »

I'm trying to find out if the secondary SD card on the I/O board can be accessed through FTP. I'm designing a case for my MiSTer and did not want to add a SD card extension for the secondary slot if I could just FTP files to it. Thanks in advance for any information on this!

Think of the secondary sd card slot like having a floppy drive attached directly to the headers. That's kinda how it's setup. It's used by some computer cores since it made things easier on the devs to get things working at the time. There's still I think a couple cores that require it for some things.

From what I read in the Wiki it seems like the computer cores that could utilize that secondary SD slot might also be able to leverage VHDs on the primary SD card or an attached USB HDD as an alternative?
