Namco Dual Stick Assault

Would love to see Namco's amazing dual stick shooter / ASSAULT on Mister. Anyone working on it?
Got to thinking about it after attempting to play Robotron using my 8BitDo Sn30Pro+ ...Gonna need to build me a real dual stick arcade setup.

I love Namco System 2 games as well! This would be very cool. Metal Hawk and if I’m not mistaken Ordyne run on this as well. Both very fun.

You can play Assault with a Twinstick on PS1 via Namco Museum Vol. 4. Ordyne is on the same disc.
I think Namco ported their Museum arcade games specifically for the PS1, before resorting to emulation from PS2 onward.
Rolling Thunder on Vol. 6 (R) feels pretty darn perfect for instance, but Dragon Spirit has some issues with slowdown.

I built a little Pi4 based MAME appliance using a cool OS setup I found. (I'll dig up a link if anyone wants it) So I generally have it sitting next to my MiSTer. Still, if I didn't have to I'd prefer that.
