If you are using VGA and HDMI at the same time, i.e hdmi screen recording, is it possible to have the menu on the VGA only?? Can you disable menu showing on the HDMI screen??
Why you may ask??? Some demos on various systems require disk changes which means opening menu and if your recording id prefer that not to happen

Re: Question about the menus
Not sure about hiding the menu on HDMI only.
A possible different approach could be to remote in and use MiSTer Batch control (MBC), which is what Super Attract Mode uses to load cores. Caveat that I have not tried this myself.

Looks like many systems have built-in support, but not all of them (e.g., amiga, atari st).

Re: Question about the menus
Can you not just cut that bit out from your video, using video editing software, before you upload to wherever you are showing it ?
