The rom in my collection (I have the Smokemonster set, I think) works fine with the latest core. Could start the game, see the intro text, walk around and fight ghosts.

This software was something I dump from a cartridge the other day.
I edited the header based on your opinion and changed it to Mapper 16, and it started without any problems.
