GnG - Invisible Knight

I don't really mind at all but I thought it was odd that when I got hit in Ghosts'n'Goblins that the knight in my captured stream via HDMI was 100% visible on the CRT for a few seconds.

Your capture device only shows 30fps. Check if your capture device can be configured to display 60fps.

How does this affect 1 sprite character in the game and not the others?

Most likely the character strobes on and off when hit. If this happens out of sync with the 30 visible frames he will seem to disappear.

A good example is this video

What on 720p 60hz.
Then watch on 480p 30hz.
