Re: New All in one system coming up
I see only Batch1, no Batch2 announced yet. First Batch seems to be 150 Boards !

Taken from their website:Duffygag wrote: ↑Sun Oct 03, 2021 12:39 pm These aio are getting stale already, plus the small footprint of the original setup is much more appealing (to me at least) even if a mini itx solution is def better than other crappy iterations. Not having a better audio DAC tho is criminal and idiotic at this point.
"It sounds pretty good right?, but i know there are a lot of audiophiles out there who only want the best of the best, and that is why i built an interface on board to support an audio enhancement module; The IRONCLAD BLASTER FX.
Connecting this module adds an I2S DAC to your Ironclad Plus which improves the analog audio out quality of all connectors. It is plug and play, connect it, flip a switch on your DE10-Nano and you are set. having this module on board also enables the headphones amplified audio out for front panel connector on-board (the HDAUDIO header). The Ironclad Blaster FX is still being developed but will be offered with free shipping costs to buyers of the Ironclad Plus who bough the board before the release date of the Ironclad Blaster FX. The audio expansion connector on board can also be used to connect your I2S dac board of choice, also plug-and-play, no modification needs to be done to the Mini-ITX Ironclad, instructions about this will be provided in the online manual of the Ironclad Plus."
Re: New All in one system coming up
Anyone that has actually received a board as of yet?
They started preorder for 2nd batch but have not started sending out 1st batch boards yet?
Website and twitter updates are scarce as well, in this tempo i wonder if people will receive their boards before the end of december?

Re: New All in one system coming up
first line in their last news update is :
"Hi everybody!, as you know production for the first batch keeps going, and all shipments from the first batch should go out during this month as it was planned, we are working hard to achieve that feat.""

Re: New All in one system coming up
That's nice and all but during this month, does that mean this week, next week, end of the month?
Holidays are here so i'm guessing he isn't going to get them out in time?
A few more updates in between would be nice.

Re: New All in one system coming up
I sent Roberto an e-mail regarding delivery and he told me mine would be sent on the 23rd, so it should be in a little after the holidays i guess.
I've got a case awaiting the board and will update once built!

Of course, I just want to make sure that he reads it and takes it into account. After all, it doesn't help if you send things through world history unnecessarily because there is no one there who can accept them.

Re: New All in one system coming up
Has anyone here already received such a board from Batch1? So far I have neither received a reply to my email from mid-December nor a shipping confirmation.
Re: New All in one system coming up
Mine is shipped on the 27th and should be in my country (the Netherlands) right now according to the spanish mail tracking code, once i receive the board i will update ofcourse!
Maybe you should try and contact Roberto again, he might've missed it or maybe a hyperactive spam mail filter like i had when i should've received the receipt of my purchase. (shipping mail came through fine though)

Re: New All in one system coming up
My IronClad Plus arrived yesterday. Here are some photos. I'm waiting on an adapter cable to convert my Case's USB3 cable to USB2. I still need to order a fan.

Re: New All in one system coming up
Got my board in the mail today, took quite some time to get from Spain to the Netherlands, but nonetheless it arrived!
Quite content with all i must say, only one small issue i have (need to check what's up, but not today) is that my USB port on the back doesn't power / recognize the external ssd when i push the connector all the way in.
Though when i pull it back just a little bit, it works just fine. (suspecting a crooked pin maybe, i'll see tomorrow or next sunday at the latest)
The fans i still had work just fine, but no PWM so they sound like jet engines when i turn on the console and then i disconnected them.
Might replace them with a PWM version later on, or have a look if it's possible to use voltage reduction to make them turn a little bit slower.
EDIT:
Seems the double usb connector with lan on the backside has this issue still, when i push the connector all the way in it simply doesn't work.
However if i slightly pull it back then it gets powered and works, a little annoying but at least it works.

Re: New All in one system coming up
Are the buttons not working for the fans? Here you should be able to manually reduce the speed.
Re: New All in one system coming up
I'm guessing the button for fan speed will work perfectly, though it requires a 4 pin PWM fan, mine were still 3 pin fans and that would require DC mode from the board to throttle the fans.german_user wrote: ↑Tue Jan 18, 2022 4:16 pm Are the buttons not working for the fans? But the board does not support this and thus i got myself 2 of the same fans but with PWM support.
They should come in today hopefully if the post today if they're not messing it up again, they failed to deliver yesterday so....
