Can't get the new shadowmask filters to work [Solved]
Can't get the new shadowmask filters to work [Solved]
Hi there - I have the Shadow_Masks folder with the files in it in /media/fat, however when I try the different shadowmask options in any of the cores that support it, (SNES, Genesis, etc.) they're not working, the screen only gets slightly darker without the actual filters applied. This is after running update_all twice, once yesterday morning and again today. Any idea what's going on here? Any help is appreciated. Cheers.

Are you using this over HDMI or to a CRT?

I haven't tried it yet myself but I'm excited to give it a go. I don't really know what to expect though. Could do with some before and after shots. Is it just certain effects that "tricked" CRTs, that just don't show up on correctly modern displays?

Re: Can't get the new shadowmask filters to work
So what I did was re-uploaded the shadow mask files with WinSCP & tried & now it's working. I think WinSCP doesn't transfer files properly sometimes? I think I've read that this can happen. At any rate, it's working now, thanks for the help everyone.
