Made a quick visiual guide on how to compile the core with everything you need ( or at least how to get it ).
Best run in full screen.

Re: PS1 compiling the core...
for those that want to use the core with a non digital IO board, remove the "MISTER_DUAL_SDRAM" from the "Existing Verilog HDL macro settings" or set it to "0".
edit: never mind, I had not seen the post of Robert in the other thread before I posted this...he already pointed out how to do it.

Re: PS1 compiling the core...
The core is still somewhat immature/unstable and under very active development. Any build posted would likely be obsolete in a matter of days, if not hours. If anyone were to distribute RBF files, it would probably only make sense either as a totally impartial CI process or by way of the author asking for testing of specific revisions.

Re: PS1 compiling the core...
Awesome, I always forget how to compile cores, I have done it a few times. I think I have some comments in some posts somewhere on the forum where I wrote some notes about how I got around some issues I had compiling cores from source. I did plan to maybe make a video about it, but now you did, so thanks a lot for that.
Anyone got a build that not just disables the dual RAM part, but enables the analogue IO board again so you can use VGA?

It's about 15GB if you don't install all the stuff listed in the video. You can also download unstable nightlies from the github now:
