How do you find out the port to ftp into MiSTer?

Unread post by metalfacemark »

On my other misters, port has always been 21.

I got the mister multisystem board the other day, my IP is completely different on it, but the port doesnt work.

Is there any easy way to find out what port i should be using? Ive tried the regular ones, 21,22.

I use regular FTP with FileZilla with the port left empty.

https://winscp.net/eng/download.php - clickt he green button that says "DOWNLOAD WINSCP"

Install that, get the IP address off of your MiSTer by going into the menu, pressing the menu button to switch to the screen that has the scripts, define buttons, etc... then press left. It should show you an IP. If it doesn't you aren't connected to your network.

Take that IP and punch it in to winscp when it asks you, the username is root, the password is 1.
