KOF '98 Broken?

I've played and beat all the KOF games with both Japanese and USA BIOS and '98 is the only one that will mess up on after a few rounds or when I get to the final boss. A green screen with all these numbers says the contacts are dirty etc.

Is there going to be an update to fix it?

I checked my KOF'98 in Arcade mode and US setting, worked perfectly for me all the way through.

you might have a rom corruption issue.

you could try a different rom.
