Hi!
I’m gonna start building my first arcade cabinet. But the controls seems to be the hardest part to figure out how to do best
With mister, should I choose a I-PAC, J-PAC, Daemonbite or something else?
Or are they all compatible?
My initial thought was to use build 2x darmonbite arcade encoders, but not sure if it’s the best way.
And should I go for 1 encoder per player even though some encoders has support for more players?
It’s gonna be a 2 player cabinet and 7buttons per player plus a couple for coin etc.(guess these extra buttons has to be assigned to player one)
What encoder to choose

Re: What encoder to choose
I built a cabinet quite recently with a MiSTer and self-made Daemonbite adapters. If you have basic soldering skills and can follow the instructions on Github I'd totally recommend using them and you'd save money in the process (make sure you compile with debounce enabled).
And yes, one encoder per player.
