I just discovered SYMBOS which is a modern OS with GUI, preemptive multitasking and more.
I managed to install it on a VHD, it boot and seems to work. I have a controller with analog joysticks and I had configured one as a mouse. SYMBOS did not detect my real mouse and I have to use the joystick which is not the most convenient, I will have to use the OSD to slow it down. Time to dig into my notes to remember how to do that.
Now what would be great is if a developer could implement the GFX9000 graphic cartridge as the resolution is somewhat low.

Re: Modern OS on MSX
Any clue why the mouse isn't working on SymbOS?
