SPARCstation Core Black Screen

Tried the SPARCstation core by @Grabulosaure as hosted on temlib.net. It just show a black screen over HDMI. Are there any docs for this core, or maybe even source code?

You have to download the disk images of SunOS, Solaris and Next. Password protected: use the name of the OS but be careful to respect the exact spelling and Capitalization to match the official name.
SunOS works but I do not know how to shut it down properly. I think I used init 0 but upon reboot it says file system not clean, does a fsck and I am back in business.
Solaris works but I have no idea how to shut it down properly. I destroyed a bunch of hard disks before giving up.
Next starts to boot but crashes.

Put the machine in runlevel 5 after a repeated disk sync should work, but I'm going from very rusty memory here:

sync; sync; init 5

If init 5 doesn't work, try :
sync, sync, halt
