Great news, after the Nemesis core last week, we get Terra Cresta soon, so many great Shmups on the MiSTer.

Re: Nichibutsu M68000 Based HW (Terra Cresta/Force)
Fantastic news. Nichibutsu are honestly a pretty janky company but it makes me happy to see them getting love. Terra Cresta is probably their strongest game so that will leave a good impression on the inexperienced. There are a good amount of overlooked bizarre Japanese arcade developers that don't get the love and attention they deserve. Maybe we'll see more UPL or NMK boards get implemented one day.
Amaterra doesn't look too shabby either. I have a soft spot for "person just walking around" style shmups so it's cool to see one I've never heard of before.

Oh boy, I wish we could someday get Terra Diver (SEGA S-TV core, aka Saturn)! Until then, I guess the PSX implementation will have to do

Here's the source for Terra Cresta with an updated release. It's in an alpha state and Darren has code to push for a few bugs. We'll start on timings here and reverse engineering soon.

Re: Nichibutsu M68000 Based HW (Terra Cresta/Force)
Here's the progress on Terra Force. We'll be covering 15 games all together for Nichibutsu; maybe more. Once everything is laid out, schematics extraction and protection implementation for both Terra Cresta/Force hardware will begin.
Darren is going to work on Rally Bike soon and probably finish up Toaplan V1. We're also planning pre-MVS SNK titles and a few other one offs.

Re: Nichibutsu M68000 Based HW (Terra Cresta/Force)
Did somebody manage to download the correct horekidb2.zip file for the new Booby Kids alternative?
Thanks!
EDIT: All sorted. I have manually re-downloaded the horekidb.zip file and it is now working

Re: Nichibutsu M68000 Based HW (Terra Cresta/Force)
I shoehorned mame242's `horekid.zip` merged rom into mamegetter. It'll take an hour, but will fix this issue for most people until I upload a new mameset. The game was recently added, that's how we were able to get it booting on the Terra Cresta core without the protection being done for the core yet.

Re: Nichibutsu M68000 Based HW (Terra Cresta/Force)
Stay tuned, we've got another title ready to go for Darren O's Terra Cresta core! He's been working hard on Terra Force while I've been focusing on the Terra Cresta based hardware. This tweets worth a read! Should be posted and available with the Unofficial Distribution turned on in update_all in the next 48hrs.

Enjoy!!! If you update manually, make sure to replace all the MRA's with the new rbf. Also, look over the readme. We've added some features and other information.

Re: Nichibutsu M68000 Based HW (Terra Cresta/Force)
Finally gave these games a try and first, Thank You Guys! I've never played these games before and they are very cool! And f'ing hard!
I used the UA script and while Formation AF and CC work and have sound, the TC core bundle works without sound at all. Any idea what could have gone wrong? I deleted my whole file structure and MRAs and did a fresh re-install as well, same result.
Thanks again for these, these game seem pretty fun!
