New User Display Resolution issue

Hi,

I've just received my MiSTer and I'm having some problems. I've put everything together but when I fire it up all I get on the monitor is a message on the monitor saying that the resolution can't be displayed and to change it to 1920x1080@60Hz.

I've tried both the SD card that came with my MiSTer and created one myself, same problem on both. I tried editing the minster.ini file to set the video_mode to 8.

Anyone got any ideas on what I should try?

If you are connecting to a DVI port on your monitor with an HDMI->DVI adapter, you need to set dvi_mode=1 in mister.ini.

If you are instead using the VGA port on the I/O board, you need to set vga_scaler=1.
