Aero Fighters 2

Hi, just wanted to report that Aero Figthers 2 has some sound issues.
Sometimes, starting from level 2 music + SFX just freeze.
Anybody else noticed this?

I have noticed such freezes in real neogeo as well, not always level 2, more random. Freeze, gradually silent.

I've seen sound just stop working on some MAME core for RetroArch. I will give it a try on MiSTer core. Probably it's something that has been "ported" from MAME?

I don't think the NG core is a port from anything software-related - if so, it has bugs that were never seen before in software emulators.

Hmm. Right. Specially the NeoGeo core was based off come IC decaps, IIRC. But it's not uncommon to see FPGA developers referring to MAME code as reference.

Hi all, just played through AF2 and I experienced the same sound glitch where after level 5 it just stops producing sound altogether. My core is version 22.04.03. Any work around?

A similar issue has been reported on GitHub for the NeoGeo core, another user posted a possible fix/work around, no harm in giving it a try to see if it solves the problem for you.
