Any chance of the japanese version of STREET FIGHTER ZERO 3 coming to MISTer?

It's already there; all CPS-2 games are supported using Jotego's core.

You can look in "Alternates" for any that aren't in the main arcade folder.

I'll check it out.

I can't stand the name changes on the other versions, etc.

I just checked, I only have the euro version. How do I add the Japanese version if it was supposed to be included?

Nm. I found it. You don't find it with ALTERNATIVE. I had to filter it by REGION.
