Congratulations FPGAzumSpass and to everyone who actively helped Robert during the beta phase and many thanks to you all for creating the core.

I am enjoying the core very much for a while now, the last unofficial builds where already very mature, the official release is an awesome milestone.

It's a monumental achievement. I stil find it hard to believe how relatively fast has all this happened, what with mature betas being available for months now. I'm having urges to check that my real PSX is still in the other corner and not behind this here MiSTer-dedicated telly...

woah, this is an incredible achievement. I honestly never thought it would happen, many congrats to @FPGAzumSpass. I've delibrately not compiled any of the beta's and bizarrely I've never even had or played on a PlayStation before, so this will be a brand new experience.

Does this mean we can report bugs now? I didn't try the official release yet, but I have been playing Star Wars Rebel Assault II and it has an EE error on the screen, but it works. I just turned it off in the menu so it is not a big deal.

If you told me last year that we would see a PSX and 32X core released this year, I would have said it was impossible!

This is making me regret picking up a modified PS1 console last year.

Wow, this is awesome. I can now pack away my PS1. I was very close to adding an ODE to it as the CD drive is getting a little dodgy.

This is just awesome! I started using MiSTer a few years ago and watching how much it's evolved since then, feels like witchcraft. A huge thank you to everyone involved.

Not witchcraft!
Sorgelig and the other FPGA "developers" are aliens that have created the MiSTer as a weapon to take over and enslave earth without any bloodshed (except on forums/social media off course  ).

The release is the single ram version. If you want Dual ram you will have to download the version from discord.

is there any difference? i.e. are there games that won't work unless extra ram is fitted?
