These are two that would be a lot of fun on MiSTer.

Jotego has said in the past that he'd get to Speed Rumbler at some point, which makes sense as he's done many similar Capcom games. No idea about Rastan, though.

That would be cool. I forgot that SR is a Capcom title. I’d love to see that one as I spent many a quarter on it back in the day.

It looks like Rastan uses some pretty standard chips: MC68000 and Z80, and a YM2151. Don't know anything about the OKI MSM5205 ADPCM chip, but I suspect Rastan would be quite doable.

Jotego wrote an MSM5205 core. It's used in e.g. Double Dragon, Street Fighter, and Legendary Wings.

I have a Rastan original board and a bootleg too. I want to do it, but I guess it will come after System 16 unless I get fed up and need a break from some ugly System 16 issue or something.

About one year after that post, Rastan is done.

Thanks so much for all your hard work! I'm a bit of a newbie here but for some reason Rastan doesn't seem to sync on my PVMs. It's just a rolling screen although I've tried a number of scaling options in the config file, etc. Is there something I'm missing? All other cores operate fine. Thanks again!

Jotego, i posted on your pateon last week on my issue with Rastan, and a garbled screen, and i know a few others have had similar issues. My own probelm may be due to the fact im running scan doubler as i have both a vga monitor and an icd screen hooked up to my mister. Any chance you can give us the option of 60hz in the core like the Konami games? I believe this would enable the core to work for us.

Thanks for any detail.

I think all the Konami titles and Rastan will be good for you now.

Just tried it again last night after an update, i have not been using mister much these last few weeks, but Rastan works now for me, but i noticed that the music seemed a little fast? Perhaps due to my settings again.. Thanks for the update, appreciated :D
