TI-99: Pinball 99

Unread post by chrisy »

Here you can find an early version of the game Pinball 99: https://atariage.com/forums/topic/336079-pinball-99/

I tried this on my MiSTer and the ball goes through the solid areas and generally does not behave as it should!

As I know next to nothing about the TI99, it's possible that there are some specific settings required which I have missed. If not, perhaps this is showing up a bug in the core? Under emulation and (according to the thread) real hardware the game works fine.

Can anybody get it to work properly?

First, if you are using pinball99-8.bin, make sure you have loaded it with Load Rom Cart *.BIN and then select Paged378 as the Cart Type.
That seems to work for me.
If you will be using the F18A based core posted in the TI99-4A thread, then make sure you set the maximum # of sprites to 4 in the Video Settings.
