Re: 24 kHz Mode Setting?
The original x68000 had a monitor that supported 15, 24, and 31 kHz and was suitable for playing arcade games on. Also I don't think the core supports 15kHz via analog video out from the MiSTer, just fyi. So you'd have to do it in 31kHz.

If you look here games were either in 15kHz or 31kHz for the most part. Only a small handful appeared to be playable in 24kHz and it was always an option you had to enable manually. There doesn't seem to be any game that has 24kHz support that doesn't also have 31kHz support.

Re: 24 kHz Mode Setting?
Let's take this step by step. There are some games for X68000 that have the option to run in 24khz mode on hardware. It isn't *required* for any retail games but rather it's an option. I don't think mister implementation of 68K runs proper to hardware as far as displays. Generally the game will have 31khz as the standard video mode but there is a hidden option to switch the display mode to 24khz. I think this is what you're looking for.
I know 100% Xenon 2 and Dragon Buster have the option to run in 24khz by pushing the HELP button and I've done it on original hardware. Can you try this and report back?
Re: 24 kHz Mode Setting?
Not related to 24khz, but i'm stuck with a similar issue.
I know Star Force has an option for 15khz, also enabled when pushing HELP button.. but dunno how to map that key to the PC USB keyboard.
