Itoi Shigesato no Bass Tsuir No. 1 not working (black screen)

This is an interesting one. I've never come across a rom I couldn't load. I can't seem to play Shigesato Itoi's No. 1 Bass Fishing. Just opens the rom to a black screen.

Can anyone confirm?

The extra datas are not supported for slotted cartridges.
