Hi together,
I am new to the forum and also quite new to Mister in general.
I have updated everything to latest files and got everything to work i was looking for so far. Except F1 Manager 96...
I have built an ISO from the original CD and installed the game on the SD Card. (VHD with MSDos 6.22 on it with mouse and XD driver enabled)
Everything works, i can install it, configure sound and even launch the game. But in game as soon as i switch from the main office anywhere else the game gets stuck.
From a minimum requirement point of view the Mister and AO486 setup should have enough power but somehow it is not working as it should. Did anybody else already try the game and maybe has a tip what i could change in order to get the game working?
Thanks in advance!

Re: F1 Manager 96 Problems
I don't know if this is what's actually wrong, but there are bugs in the memory driver. Reducing the RAM total to 16MB may let you avoid that problem.
Might not do a darn thing, either, but it only takes a minute to try.

Re: F1 Manager 96 Problems
Thanks for your answer. I have tried 16MB and game seems to run a bit faster but still crashes. I also tried the different memory settings from here

But again it crashes. This time i see some error output in the display like in the picture.

Re: F1 Manager 96 Problems
DOS4GW problems are common on AO486, again presumably because of memory issues.
From what I've read, using DOS32A as a replacement will often fix busted games. There are instructions here:
https://www.dosbox.com/wiki/TOOLS:DOS32A
If that works, you can probably expand memory back to something bigger again, if F1 can use it.

Re: F1 Manager 96 Problems
Thanks for that. I tried it with DOS32A but no difference. Only difference is that the error message is not readable anymore.
