RESOLVED: I found 2 files in the SDCard's config folder named Atari7800, so I deleted them and it is now showing the screen!
I've just setup my MiSTer and one thing I noticed was when I originally loaded the Atari 7800 core it would load an Atari 7800 logo screen before going into the menu for the core.....
Well I must have changed something because now when I load the core, the screen goes black. I can hit F12 to bring up the menu for the core and load games fine. So the core is working.
Is there a setting to turn on/off the core's loading screen? I'd like to get that back.
**I've included an example I found on a video on the web...it shows the Atari 7600 background that should load when the core loads....
Thank you!!
Core Loading Screen Doesn't Show, But Games work
Re: Core Loading Screen Doesn't Show, But Games work
fyi
I'm noticing that if I mistakenly us the open *.rom, bin and try to open a game file that a file is created in the config folder called ATARI7800.f2
If the ATARI7800.f2 file exists, then when I launch the core again I will not see the Atari 7800 splash screen. It will simply be black until I hit the menu button to bring up the menu. The core will still run games fine however.
Deleting the ATARI7800.f2 from the config folder will resolve the issue.
