I just got my copy of this today:
https://c64os.com
Its pretty neat... I cannot get it to run though.
I got the MiSTer SNAC-IEC C64 (Commodore 1541)
https://ultimatemister.com/product/mister-snac-iec-c64/
And I got the SDrive 1564. A product that seems to not be sold anymore. There is a newer one that has an LCD display, but mine does not. I think maybe the problem is that C64OS does not support the SDrive 1564.
Anyone else had this issue? I found this video showing someone who got C64OS running on the MiSTer. I am happy to see that USB mouse now works quite great as an Commodore 1351 mouse

C64 OS
Re: C64 OS
I'm using an SD2IEC LCD in that video. So far the only issue I'm having is creating a program alias to launch and run ChiCli from C64 OS.Caldor wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 10:18 pm I just got my copy of this today:

Did you ask about SDrive 1564 compatibility in the C64OS Discord?

Re: C64 OS
So there is a Discord? No I am not on it yet. I guess it might also be the SD card. Strange thing is the full installation worked, where it setup a new OS folder and installed it into, and the configuration works. I can use the SD2IEC file manager as well. CBM Filemanager 1.6. I use that to switch folders to avoid having to use those commands.NML32 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 10:44 pmI'm using an SD2IEC LCD in that video. I had hoped I could ask on a Discord or a forum, so I will try that. Its a simple 1gb SD card that otherwise seems to work. I double checked that it is Fat32 formatted like the 64mb SD card the C64 OS comes on. Or maybe its 32mb, I do not remember.

Re: C64 OS
I have tested some more. I could get it to run on my Ultimate 64, but still not on my MiSTer. Tried resetting the settings and enabling JiffyDOS and the external SD2IEC drive, but no luck. I will try some more when I get home later.

Re: C64 OS
I got it working. I think the issue was that I was using DolphinDOS, either that or it was an issue with the real time clock feature.
But now it runs Still trying out the different features. The developer told me that for now DolphinDOS is not support by C64OS, so that is likely to have been the reason.
