Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
This core is at Beta, but I have to say it needs more exposure - hence this post as I am sure there are MiSTer owners who do not know about this and frequent this form a lot like I do - mainly on a read-only basis as not a major poster. It was I believe by a chap called Alex.
I downloaded this and having found it - but never seen ( or even knew it existed on the MiSTer FPGA ) has no idea what this was going to be like and holy hell - it plays *** REALLY *** REALLY *** well.
I love the MiSTer FPGA and it's really the device that keeps on given. Here is the play through of a core that I had no idea existed...

Seems as though not much has been done on this core lately though. Would love to see Marble Madness and Road Blasters playable as well!

Peter Pack Rat just displays a blank screen on mine unless I put it in test mode.

I’m not sure how to compile. Don’t suppose you could post it here?
Re: Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
Love this game and Roadrunner too. Fantasic hardware with some pretty classic games.
Re: Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
Works for me, has problems with the sprites, draws a grey area above and below them - possibly the S.L.A.G chips being driven in a different way, have to try and work out what it does differently.
I know on the real thing I had a faulty Indy cart and a faulty Packrat cart, but swopping the S.L.A.G chips over meant that both then worked fine, so they obviously use different features from them.
