Can I request an option to make the floppy drives read only with having to zip the adfs
And possibly a reset with eject floppies option?

You can use backspace to eject a floppy instead of inserting one when you are inserting a new floppy.
I do not think the core supports zipped ADFs... but some cores do support zipped ROMs. I guess it might be possible to add such a feature to this core.
