Guncon 2 Player Assignement Problem

Hello,
I tried to get a guncon 2 working with the psx core. Problem is, i have a controller and the guncon2 connected. The controller is always assigned to player 1, and guncon to player 2. In the OSD i can disable the controller but guncon is still in player 2.
So i suppose the only way to have this to work is to unplug the controller every time i want to use the guncon ?

If you load the core and press a button on the GunCon 2 first, before pressing a button on the controller, the GunCon 2 should be set to player 1.
