Rebuilding, Nothing Will Run

Unread post by Torgo »

I've had this current MiSTer for a couple of years now, and I've even successfully rebuilt the SD card when I got a bigger one.

Then I grabbed a MiSTer Multisystem from RMC, but I didn't have a DE10 Nano for it, so I had scavenged it from my OG, and started using the 1TB MicroSD card on it. No Problems.

I've recently gotten a 2nd DE10 Nano and put my original back together. Built a card with Mr Fusion like before, but nothing would run. So I bought another MicroSD and rebuilt that, still nothing. The menus all work, and I got Wifi running, but the only thing that I've gotten to work is Time Pilot. No Console cores will run games or even boot all the way (No PlayStation splash screen or instance)

When I had issues like this in the past, it usually seemed like an .ini setting, but I don't see anything.

Any ideas?

run memtest to see if memory is functioning ok?

just to be sure might want to carefully take it off clean the contact pins on the DE10 and reseat it?

Its telling you your memory is failing at 143. The memory test counts down on speed the yellow number top right until the red number stays on 0. Thats the max speed your memory can run at.

so it should if you leave it running go to a lower and lower top right number. If it gets below 130 then you have issues.

Oh, I guess you're supposed to run this for 10 or so minutes. Doing that now.

I popped my original RAM stick on, and everything, so far, seems to be running fine (Except Neo Geo of course).

Thanks very much all.

Why not?
If your SDRAM is only 32MB you can still run a bunch of games.
