Can I Update (Only) Midnight Commander in MiSTer?

Hi,

is it possible to update the Midnight Commander in Mister without breaking something?

I'd like a newer version because I need the Filter function to have the case insensitive toggle.

If so, how could I do that? SSH to mister.... apt-get update?

If you really don't want to update anything else, manually replace the core.

It is not a core but a Linux utility.

You would have to compile the tool yourself, there is no linux package manager to use for MiSTer.

Oh, thanks! I don't know how to do that and that's not worth the effort. But good to have this info! I will filter the game lists on another machine then.
