Rebuilt MiSTer and the ao486 core just now, and Daemon Tools (on the exact same image) works perfectly. Clearly things are still in flux.
Yes, it also works for me in OSR2 again. I have been trying with a Windows 98SE that I installed using PCem on my PC, but I have audio issues when using that. Not sure why. But Daemon Tools is working in it. Maybe I can try to mix some files from one installation and some files from another... not sure. I think it might be best to just stick with OSR2 though, 98SE and OSR2 are pretty close anyway.
