Shinobi (broken or am I missing something)

I haven't played Shinobi in a few months actually, and also I've been out of the loop for a while, but I'm still a Patreon subscriber. My problem is Shinobi is displaying the box on the screen that reads it's still in beta, almost like it's not seeing the jtbeta.zip file. I do have the current zip file and everything is up to date on the MiSTer... pretty much just running a blank here as to what else I can troubleshoot.

Any ideas?

There was a new jtbeta file almost every 2 months

Sega 16 has been publicly released many month ago. No problem with the game here and I have never been one of his patrons.
Check all your jtXXX.rbf if some have a date stamp in their name delete them.
