I've tried some of the presets but they always soften/blur the image. Does anyone have nice sharp scanlines on the MiSTer?

Re: How to get sharp scanlines?
This is what I use right now:
Code: Select all
hfilter=Upscaling - Recommended/GS_Sharpness_070.txt
vfilter=Scanlines - Adaptive/SLA_Dk_060_Br_080.txt
sfilter=off
gamma=Pure_Gamma/gamma_110.txt
mask=Simple (Monochrome)/Sony PVM (Generic) (~1980).txt
maskmode=1x

Re: How to get sharp scanlines?
Thanks for posting your settings. I tried yours and tried using them as a starting point and fiddling around but it doesn't feel like I can get the same look I get with the OSSC in my JAMMA setup.
Does enabling video settings on MiSTer (as opposed to using the defaults) increase input lag? It sure feels like it to me.

Absolutely not. The video filters/ shadow masks are kind of limited for this reason. Only messing with vsync_adjust or say rotation in arcade games is going to have an impact.
