Extension with Daemon Adapter

Unread post by RetroDaemon »

Hey Guys,

First post here but been lingering and more active on Reddit for my sins…

Would anyone be interested in a pre-built controller extension cable with built in Daemon USB adapter?

Here’s PSX adapter for example

I ended up designing these as an alternative to SNAC

Off the top of my head, as I’m currently working away right now and can’t double check but £25-£30 each

I'd be interested. I want a way to get my PSX NeGcon and Jogcon to USB.

Unfortunately I don’t think this will work with those controllers… this is a snippet from the readme on GitHub by Hendrik Osterholz

“Currently it supports normal digital PSX controllers, analog sticks are not supported.”

Ah that would work! I could also probably get it to auto detect to see if it’s a standard PSX controller or a Jogcon and then use the appropriate code.

That would be great. I could probably try and hack your code if ever I find code to run the NeGcon. Send me a PM when you get it working. I'd be happy to pay you and also help test it.

careful using the name Daemon with adaptors as Mick has registered Daemon Bite for his business. Hence why he was so against people using the name even though his code is open source

Thanks, I was under the impression he used DaemonBite and specifically asked people not to use that but, I thought using Daemon was ok. For instance Ultimate MiSTer sell Ultimate Deamon Adapters… https://ultimatemister.com/product-cate ... -adapters/
