Best video presets for a LG 55' C1 OLED?

So I have been using my mister on a sony trinitron 21'', but the tv is not working anymore and no maintenance in the city where I live, so I will have to use mister on my oled tv.

before this tv I used mister on a samsung lcd monitor 21'' and even tried using some presets with shadow mask but horrible results with very dark image. very bad.

So for this tv is there a way to make it close to a crt in terms of image using shadow masks on oled tv? What could you recommend for me to try?

I mostly play mega drive/snes/gba/psx/saturn and now following the n64 core.

I have a C1 and use the following settings:

Horz filter:
GS_sharpness_60

Vert filter:
SLA_DK_70_BR_80

Gamma:
Poly 2.4

Shadow mask:
Complex(multichromatic)/CRT styles/subpixel RGB(common)/ Consumer Tv (genetic)

To me at least it compares pretty good to my panasonic CRT with on RGB.

I Also use BFI on my C1 which darkens the image a bit so your milage might vary.

The game-changer on an OLED is HDR=1. That gives you the brightness to compensate for deep scanlines and shadowmasks.

I have tried many different presets and crt filters on my 48c1 but I have given up on a crt look. I now use interpolation medium on every core. My main gripe with crt shadowmasks and scan lines is that they disappear while scrolling. When paused they look incredible. Bfi helps a little but I do prefer the low latency. One example is Tate shooters like Dodonpachi. Enable any vertical scanlines and once you start moving from left to right, you can no longer see them. Then you stop moving and they are clear again. That is not how a crt behaves. Also try any vertical shooter on console with horizontal scanlines. As soon as it starts scrolling no more scanlines. That was too distracting for my taste.

Black frame insertion, or oled motion pro on a LG OLED. setting it to high will improve motion clarity, enabling you to better see the crt filter during motion, but at the cost of latency. Only you can decide if it is worth it. As I mostly play shooters, I prefer low latency.

in mister ini settings, what resolution and frequeny should I set for this C1 55'' 4k oled?

On my C1 up to video mode 12=1920x1440, some use mode 13= 2048x1536 but I cannot get a stable signal using it.

Hi whenever ive tried 12=1920x1440 on my G1 all i get on every core is a widescreen effect with the screen being horizontally stretched and i haven't found a way to display the correct aspect ratio any ideas ?
Do you have to manually switch the aspect ratio thinking about it on the TV ? as previous video modes switch from 16:9 in the Main menu's to 4:3 ingame automatically but video_mode 12=1920x1440 stays horizontally stretched not quite 16:9 though when a core is launched.

You have to set your tv aspect ratio to 4:3 or Original aspect ratio.
