Is something wrong with Truxton arcade core? When I try to play it, only gives a black screen and nothing more... or is only for me? Truxton 2 is ok.

Re: Truxton Arcade Not Working Anymore?
I just happened to boot this one up for the first time in a while last night. If your VSync setting in your ini file is set to 2, and the Truxton core is set to play at the game's original refresh rate, your TV might not be able to display the signal. Temporarily set vsync_adjust to 0 in your ini file and on an HDTV boot into the Truxton core and set the refresh rate to NTSC instead of Native. After that you can set your VSync back the way you want and the core will still display on your TV. It'll run a little fast, at 60 fps instead of the native 57 fps, but it will be compatible with any NTSC display this way

Both work fine here with vsync adjust set to 2.
As Colonel Panic mentions, it could be a display issue, but the thread says "anymore", indicating it used to work for you.

Re: Truxton Arcade Not Working Anymore?
Something weird has happened with this core for me...
After running update all, the start button no longer gives a credit or starts a game (I am running a Mistercade). I have to use my keyboard
Other cores still work fine, including Truxton 2
I have tried remapping the buttons for Truxton but no dice
Any ideas?
Thanks

Re: Truxton Arcade Not Working Anymore?
Delete the config files for this game (media/fat/config) and try again.
Re: Truxton Arcade Not Working Anymore?
Hello!
Just tested this and you are right with the new update the core does not take any credits. This applies for the Truxton 1 core. Deleting the config filed does not help. What you can do is download the Atrac17 zero wing main file from github use the last zero wing rbf core and also place the corresponding Truxton 1 mra file in the specific folder from mister and coin acception should operate fine again

It actually works (without the need to manually replacing files), but the button mappings are messed up. Pause button is now for the credits. And credits button starts the game. With this in mind you can start the game. Needs an official MRA update i guess.

I just came to say this same thing. I tested it as working with the caveat that PAUSE is COIN and the actual COIN button seems to do nothing.

Re: Truxton Arcade Not Working Anymore?
Modify the Truxton - Tatsujin.mra to change this line:
Code: Select all
<buttons names="Shot,Bomb,-,P1 Start,P2 Start,Coin A,Coin B,Pause" default="A,B,X,Y,R,Start"/>
to this line (adding an extra "-," between Bomb and P1 Start):
Code: Select all
<buttons names="Shot,Bomb,-,-,P1 Start,P2 Start,Coin A,Coin B,Pause" default="A,B,X,Y,R,Start"/>
Then remap your controller(s) with the core.
